CRIA  certification

CRIA stands for Clean Report Inspection Analysis, also known as Customs Clearance Report Inspection Analysis. It is a new policy issued by the NAFDAC department in Nigeria, which requires all products under their supervision to undergo this CRIA. CRIA is a document used for destination port customs clearance, similar to SONCAP certification.

NAFDAC authorizes it to inspect all products controlled by NAFDAC exported from China to Nigeria, including drugs, food, and other products controlled by NAFDAC.

NAFDAC regulated product catalog:

1. Food products (alcoholic beverages and beverages)

2. Drugs for humans and animals

3. Medical Products

4. Chemicals used a raw material

5. Cosmetics

6. Detergents for cleaning agents

7. Packaged water

8. Medical devices

The CRIA certification process is as follows:

Firstly, fill out the sample inspection commission form for sample testing. For the first commission, the NAFDAC certificate and copies of the three certificates of the commissioning party (business license, organization code, tax registration certificate) must be provided;

Secondly, after the product passes the inspection, schedule a time for inspection and supervision of loading, and provide a pre shipment inspection application form at least one day before loading, informing of the expected loading time and other related matters;

Thirdly, we will provide advance supervision requirements for container loading, and customers are required to load and take photos in accordance with the supervision requirements. Submit the required photos and supervision inspection process records in a timely manner after container loading.

Fourthly, after confirming that there are no issues with the inspection, an electronic version of the report will be sent for confirmation within 3-5 working days, and then the original copy will be sent out.

Fifth, Nuomo testing can be fully handled, with exemption from inspection and testing depending on the actual situation.
